    Participated in the Kanagawa Ingestion and Swallowing Rehabilitation Study Group Shonan Area All-Prefecture Conference Corporate Exhibition

    We participated in the company exhibition at the 33rd Kanagawa Ingestion and Swallowing Rehabilitation Study Group held on October 5 (Sat.).
    The theme of this event is “Food Support NST and Regional Collaboration”.

    The institute featured three special lectures, and the speakers were all prominent figures in the nursing and medical fields.
    The first special speaker was Mr. Tadasuke Kato, president of Aoi Care Co.
    His topic was “Food and Nutritional Support from a Nursing Care Perspective”,
    He reported on actual cases of food-related issues in nursing care settings. The content of his talk was very easy to understand, and he used video.
    He also talked about creating a community where those who are cared for can regain their dignity and dignity of life in the community and can spend their time in comfort.

    The second special speaker was Ms. Tamami Koyama, President of NPO Happiness in Eating from the Mouth.
    Her theme was “Let’s reconsider comprehensive food support!”
    She spoke about the need for multidisciplinary and regional cooperation in addition to skills from a comprehensive perspective, without focusing solely on nutrition and dysphagia.
    In each of her lectures, she introduces the method of dietary support using the KT Balance Chart (KTBC).
    Thanks to this, it seems to be used more and more extensively.

    The third special speaker was Professor Shoji Hironaka of the Department of Oral Hygiene,Faculty of Dentistry at the Showa University School.
    He spoke about the current quality of life of children with medical care under the theme of “Constant backup for children with medical care”.
    Although the development of perinatal care in our country has saved many children’s lives, there are still many children who live with the aftereffects,
    However, there are still many children who live with permanent disabilities.
    At present, it is difficult to say that the QOL of children with medical care has been met to the fullest, and in particular, there are many cases in which meals are ordered by food aid.
    In particular, many people feel that they have to rely on food aid, and that they have to wait until later.

    The number of people who pre-registered for this lecture reached 300, indicating the high interest of many people.
    The content of the lecture was such that cooperation among people in various professions will continue to be active in the future.

    Six companies, including our own, exhibited at the conference. The participating companies were Abbott Japan G.K., Ito En Corporation, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co,
    Nisshin Oillio Group Corporation, and Meiji Co.
    The exhibition gave the impression of volume, as there have been few opportunities to exhibit in recent years.

    We were given time at the beginning of the workshop for each company to make a presentation.
    Our company made an announcement about the contents of the “October Nabesho News.
    We will be regularly publishing information on seasonal food suggestions, new products, and disaster relief food,

    We exhibited at “Nutrition Day 2024” held at Viale Yokohama!

    August 4 is “Nutrition Day” established by the Japan Dietetic Association.
    In addition, August 1-7 was Nutrition Week, a nationwide week of various events,
    and this event was one of them.
    Many sponsors cooperated with us to introduce a variety of products that we thought would be of interest to everyone,
    including nutritional supplements, foods for professional use, and emergency rations.
    The tasting and sampling activities attracted visitors to the booths,
    who were interested in the products on display and asked many questions.
    We reaffirmed how important it is to have opportunities to actually show off our products to customers.

    While the Noto Peninsula earthquake has heightened interest in disaster preparedness,
    the day before the event there was an earthquake in western Kanagawa Prefecture with an intensity of just under 5 on the Japanese seismic scale,
    so there were many visitors.
    This time we introduced products from Alpha Foods Co.,Ltd. and Onisi Foods Co.,Ltd., both of which sell sets for individuals.
    It is considered important to check the taste of emergency rations prepared by individuals in advance by actually eating them.
    We would be happy if the sample items would encourage our customers to prepare emergency food.

    Powmie and other dashi products and mentsuyu (Japanese noodle soup) were on display, and tastings of “Takumi” seedless pickled plums were offered.
    The tasting of pickled plums was well received, as it was a midsummer day.
    A wide variety of dashi was shown with an explanation of each product feature.

    Bone removed fillets and “fluffy pickled fish” were tasted and introduced.
    Since the fish was grilled on the spot, many were lured by the savory aroma.
    It was a great success that customers who tasted the food ordered it on the spot.

    We introduced mainly the “Marby Series” and “Oligo One Series”.
    Many customers picked up samples of jams, candies, juices, and other items that were easy to incorporate into their daily lives.
    We recognized once again that HABA Laboratories Inc. product lineup is capable of addressing the familiar concerns of men and women of all ages.

    With the cooperation of the local Kanazawa Ward Women’s Association, we provided “Fleck Free Cut Cakes” from AJINOMOTO FROZEN FOODS Co, Inc.

    【Ajinomoto Frozen Foods Co.】Report on Tasting Study Session for New and Existing Products

    Ajinomoto Frozen Foods Co., Ltd. visited our headquarters and Shonan Branch for a tasting study session.

    Today, we will have a tasting and study session of our re-launched product, “Soft Stewed Cabbage Rolls with Sangwon Pork”, as well as
    and existing products such as gyoza (dumplings), yakisuri (fried dumplings), and sweets.

    We had announced the tasting and study session to our employees, and they attended the event with empty stomachs (lol).


     

     


    ●Dumpling
    We started with a tasting of the dumplings.
    We have four kinds of dumplings in stock, but in fact, each has its own characteristics.

    ・Yawaraka Yaki Gyoza (without garlic) (pre-cooked) 18.5g/10 pieces
    ・Bagged Yaki Gyoza 24 (without garlic) (egg and dairy free) 24g/10pcs.
    ・Meat dumplings (meat) (pre-baked and cooked) 17g/10pcs.
    ・Vegetable dumplings (grilled and cooked) in the bag on the stovetop (17g/10 pieces)
    *”Yawaraka” means soft.
    *”Yaki Gyoza” means grilled dumplings.

    ●Steamed meat dumpling
    Next was a tasting of the steamed meat dumpling.
    We tasted the well-known Yawaraka Tofu Shumai series.
    Tofu and surimi are combined in this universal design food, which is classified as an “easily chewable” food.
    In addition to plain tofu, there are four other types: spinach, pumpkin, and carrot.
    The beautiful green, yellow, and orange colors are well received on event menus.
    This time, we were taught how to cook this product in a steam convection oven by simply adding about 120 ml of water to the tray of this product and cooking it.

    The result was obvious!

    ●Cabbage rolls
    Next is the re-released “Soft Stewed Cabbage Rolls with Sangen Pork”.

    (3) Steam convection oven cooking was granted.

    We are planning to introduce 400g as a stock item from September and 700g as a made-to-order item.
