August 4 is “Nutrition Day” established by the Japan Dietetic Association.
In addition, August 1-7 was Nutrition Week, a nationwide week of various events,
and this event was one of them.
Many sponsors cooperated with us to introduce a variety of products that we thought would be of interest to everyone,
including nutritional supplements, foods for professional use, and emergency rations.
The tasting and sampling activities attracted visitors to the booths,
who were interested in the products on display and asked many questions.
We reaffirmed how important it is to have opportunities to actually show off our products to customers.

★Watanabe Shoji Raffle Drawing Booth
We held a lucky draw for those who followed our mail order site “Heartful Food” on Instagram.
AJINOMOTO FROZEN FOODS Co, Inc.、Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, Inc.、OKA FOODS Co.,Ltd.、Mishima Foods Co.
Thanks to the cooperation of various companies, we were able to provide our customers with many splendid prizes.

★Watanabe Shoji Emergency Food Introduction Booth
While the Noto Peninsula earthquake has heightened interest in disaster preparedness,
the day before the event there was an earthquake in western Kanagawa Prefecture with an intensity of just under 5 on the Japanese seismic scale,
so there were many visitors.
This time we introduced products from Alpha Foods Co.,Ltd. and Onisi Foods Co.,Ltd., both of which sell sets for individuals.
It is considered important to check the taste of emergency rations prepared by individuals in advance by actually eating them.
We would be happy if the sample items would encourage our customers to prepare emergency food.

★Meiji Co., Ltd. and NUTRI Co.,Ltd. and Kissei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Introduction Booth
In anticipation of the elderly visitors, Meiji Co., Ltd. “Meibalance Ice Cream” and Kissei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd “Nomiyasui” were introduced.
NUTRI Co.,Ltd. will be offering “V Crese CP10” with a tasting of the product.
Since each product is specialized for high nutrition, hydration, and nutritional supplementation, many customers were seeing them for the first time, but many of them stopped to listen to our employees’ presentation of the ingredients and features.

★Maruhachi Muramatsu, Inc. booth
Powmie and other dashi products and mentsuyu (Japanese noodle soup) were on display, and tastings of “Takumi” seedless pickled plums were offered.
The tasting of pickled plums was well received, as it was a midsummer day.
A wide variety of dashi was shown with an explanation of each product feature.

★OKA FOODS Co.,Ltd. booth
Bone removed fillets and “fluffy pickled fish” were tasted and introduced.
Since the fish was grilled on the spot, many were lured by the savory aroma.
It was a great success that customers who tasted the food ordered it on the spot.

★HABA Laboratories Inc. booth
We introduced mainly the “Marby Series” and “Oligo One Series”.
Many customers picked up samples of jams, candies, juices, and other items that were easy to incorporate into their daily lives.
We recognized once again that HABA Laboratories Inc. product lineup is capable of addressing the familiar concerns of men and women of all ages.

★AJINOMOTO FROZEN FOODS Co, Inc. Free cut cake booth
With the cooperation of the local Kanazawa Ward Women’s Association, we provided “Fleck Free Cut Cakes” from AJINOMOTO FROZEN FOODS Co, Inc.
Since several kinds of cakes were provided, the colorful style of the cakes served on one plate was well received.

The “Speech-Language Pathologist Day in Kanagawa 2023” was held last year at the Kayazaki City Cultural Hall,
This year, the event will be held at Kawasaki City Industrial Promotion Hall.

The purpose of this event is to publicize the work and expertise of speech-language pathologists,
A variety of programs are planned, including various exhibits, a hands-on corner, and lectures by experts.

For those interested in the work of speech-language pathologists, this will be an opportunity to hear firsthand what it is like to work in the field.

Speech-language pathologists also practice multidisciplinary collaboration regarding [feeding and swallowing rehabilitation].
As part of this effort, they are actively using nursing food.
On the day of the event, sample samples of swallowing adjustment foods and nursing care foods will be distributed.

The Japan Dietetic Association is not limited to the promotion of nutrition and diet-related activities,
The purpose is not only to promote the nutrition and diet-related activities of the Japan Dietetic Association,

On 5 October 2024, the ’33rd Kanagawa Ingestion and Swallowing Rehabilitation Study Group Shonan Area All-Prefectural Conference’ will be held.
This is the second time that a lecture has been given in the Shonan area, following the all-prefecture conference held in March of the current year.
